Road Map to Dementia Diagnosis

Mary Ellen Meadows, Ph.D. will present Road Map to Dementia Diagnosis on Wednesday, September 27thfrom 6-7PM at the Norwell Council on Aging (293 Pine St., Norwell). This program is free and open to the public.
Dr. Meadows is a clinical neuropsychologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Department of Neurology and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School.
Her presentation will explain:
- The process involved with getting a dementia diagnosis
- How to prepare for the medical appointments
- What resources are available for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia
- Information about brain research
Who should attend: Those who are concerned about their own memory and thinking, or that of a family member or other loved one’s.
