Join the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (MADRC) for Road Map to Behavioral Management on Wednesday, November 17th at 7pm. Presenter, Juan Carlos Urizar, MD, – Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Geriatric Psychiatry Division, Medical Director – will discuss:
- Challenges with issues, including: driving, wandering, bathing, suspicion and paranoia
- How to identify what triggers difficult behaviors
- Dos and Don’ts for communicating with someone who has Alzheimer’s disease
- Ways to manage difficult behaviors with redirection, humor, music therapy and more
