Neuropsychiatric Inventory-Questionnaire (NPI-Q) Interviewer Certification Module

The following is an excerpt from the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center (NACC)'s Uniform Data Set Coding Guidebook for Initial Visit Packets (Version 2.0, February 2008).

 

The NPI-Q provides a reliable assessment of behaviors commonly observed in patients with dementia and is to be completed by a clinician or other trained health professional per informant interivew. Alzheimer's Disease Centers (ADCs) personnel must be certified as an NPI-Q interviewer through the online training system developed by the University of California, Los Angeles and the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center (NACC).
